Mark Walford

Our trainer, Mark Walford, took over training from father Tim in 2014.  He trains in a small hamlet called Cornborough, near to Sheriff Hutton, a few miles north of York.  Mark is a precocious talent and has emerged as one of the North’s most up and coming trainers. Mark regularly trains winners on the flat or over jumps and he has a keen eye for a talented horse.

Each year Mark has grown the number of horses under his care and we are delighted that he has become the first trainer for Grey Horse Syndicates Racing Clubs.

Mark is a very warm and welcoming individual and the whole team at Cornborough Manor are friendly and encourage owners to come and visit their horses.
